Excellent story telling and stylish art!

This animation is amazing and so is everyone the helped out with the voice acting as well. These guys have a passion all their own.

Now, this is a solid 8 out of 10 and it deserves nothing lower.

First off, the animation is stylized in a way that is unique and very pleasing on the eye while still delivering off emotions and actions fluently. Next, the voice acting is not only great quality, but the voice actors put some real emotion into things and make it that much more believable making it that much better. Then, you have some excellent script working going on here; although a little dodgy with the running sequence for a moment, and losing a sense of tension, it recovers quickly and the pace is on queue with what's happening on screen.

I have two highly valid and solid reasons why this is not a 10 out of 10.
-Nothing is perfect
-a few minor tweaks

There is also a third.. and that being merely that there isn't a series of animations that lead up to this so no one that hasn't seen the comics on Zeurel's Deviant Art page will be quite lost at first, but its coherent enough to understand and enjoy without much backstory prior to reguardless.

In all honesty I think that Zeurel and the whole crew back on Deviant Art deserve a great deal of support and praise for the amount of effort, skill, and heart these guys put into doing all of this, it really is quite amazing. These guys work together and do these matches and get better at art, animation, storytelling, but more importantly all these guys have fun. Its like a corner of Deviant Art has become this close niche of people and its something.

Zeurel, as an artist myself, it is inspiring to see that many people work together to do something this.

Great Job Bro.

Solid 8/10 ... Arkas out~

Good God Man...

That was great for a laugh there. lol

It lacks a background, but the style and the voice acting suits it and makes the awkward timing work well. Specially of how long it took before he started to bleed.. lol. The excessive manner of everything just makes this priceless.

Good stuff, keep up the work.

Dane Cook?

This was just great overall. The animation quality is really crisp and smooth with your art style. Simple character shapes makes for a cartoony feel that just fits the overall tone of the animation.

I love the combination of the dark humor mixed in with the light-hearted animation style. It adds a invisible layer of quality to the animation that makes it breathe in its own style as sets it apart from everything else.

Also, I noticed, in my opinion, as this certain speech pattern similar to Dane Cook when he does his jokes. It makes things that are messed up about life and childhood in general just seem so quirky and humorous. "The Door of Unimaginable Physiological Torment" has to be one of my all time favorite lines in this. From the way its said and presented it makes for an instant classic.

The drastic facial expression and just the normal ones at that make this have a higher sense of quality. The voice acting you do makes this hold the jokes together very well.

This had a lot of time put into it and it shows. Great job on this animation. It'll be sure to hold a strong place in the Halloween submissions.

GODDAMN I DON'T SOUND LIKE DANE COOK. why does everyone keep saying that?

Greatness Returned

It always seems that these shorts progressively get better as they continue to go along. Like a fine wine it does certainly seem that age is starting to make these shorts taste all the more as the series goes on.

Audio is always varied and of great quality for each clip. Art is very varied as well, but its always new and creative to have different art styles whether they be drawn by seasoned artist or newer ones.

I believe what makes these gold is the creativity of each short and the fact that they are short. The shortness allows these only a few seconds to digest the jokes and references and barrages you with humor on top of humor.

These short will without a doubt make a great Sonic Collection or perhaps a special Sonic Shorts Series in Newgrounds.

As a personal note: I absolutely love the evil Tails doll. I love the demonic and twisted evil sounding voice of the doll. I adore stuff like that to no end. Sinister dark forces are a personal favorite of mine.

Quirky and Skilled

TypeQueen brought us a little flash animation by the name of "Charlie the Unicorn" and it was a very interesting little submission, but now the Sequel "Charlie the Unicorn 2" is here for most to enjoy or not enjoy.

Regardless of preferences, the voice acting is excellent quality and well done throughout. Another amazing thing is the musical number the shows up later on. Its not like the lyrics are complicated, but the overall tone and feel is lively and the singing is actually really good. Not many people can sing.. or even write a catchy musical number.

The animation isn't the best the world will ever see but it fits the strange happy-go-lucky word with a darker undertone extremely well. The art style is that of a child's coloring book, but the scripting is a bit sneakier than such innocents.

Although it may not have intelligent humor as often as some would like it does have creative and imaginatively random humor which flows exceedingly well together.

Overall this animation screams style and is filled with plenty of content that flows very well together. Its almost like childhood gone completely aerie. It looks very simple, but its a lot more complicated than it seems at times.

A fine peace of work and I'd love to see another sequel to the "Charlie the Unicorn" name just to see what bizarre things lay in store and what kind of quirky musical number shows up again.

Simply Amazing

I've seen my good share of flashes and have seen many different styles and animations throughout my experience with Newgrounds in general.

This by far is beautifully animated with a smooth frame rate and slick, clean animation style which is only enhanced by the different colors of the effects displayed thought this little movie. Also, there is an amazing amount of detail throughout the animation, such as blades of grass and little tufts of dirt scattering about at the character's feet.

The art style of this flash is clean and stylized in such a way that it breaks your typical stick figure animation stereotype. There is some clear vision going on here which creates a clever style that makes the bright colors contrast so well against the dark background.

The sound effects are crystal clear and are very varied which helps it to feel non-repetitive, but keeps it going along smoothly.

Overall this flash is beautifully stylish with slick, clean animations which show a great amount artistic flare with a typically simple design. Amazing amounts on detail thought the animation and a great sense of direction keeps the fight going strong throughout with the pace being one-sided or too dull.

Great coding was involved with the loader which was a very nice touch. Another nicely done touch of coding was the in-movie control the view had. Not only could you pause and resume, but you were offered zooming in and out along with 4 different camera focal points which was a very nicely done touch.

This truly is not just a work of art, but an amazing piece of entertainment as well. I hope that more of this amazing animation is to be continued. A much more than worthy submission to Newgrounds indeed.

Good, but not enough.

All in all its a short, sweet, and funny flash that's pretty enjoyable to watch.

The audio is clear and clean with an amusing take on Arnold's voice. The humor is well delivered, but it seems a tad on the dry side. The art style is familiar and good, but it lacks the animation to really hold you to it.

It is very short even for a short film with the major part of the time being opening and closing music with bobbling heads. Not a bad concept or idea, but it was just far too short and it leaves you wanting more than it delivers.

Great job even though its a little too short and you have some minor technical things, like seeing blank spaces, but other than that keep up the great work and hope to see more!

Expressionism at its finest.

Truly, there is no better way to express one's self than through the lyrics and rhythm of song.

The Foamy series has once again brought every Foamy fan's favorite strong opinionated views, but with his, now probably, beloved song style vaguely reminiscent of songs one has probably heard before.

illwillpress brings you the familiar voices and animations now almost coined into a trademark of the Foamy series.

Despite the views and opinions of others Foamy will always be the one to point out the bizarre oddities of societies double standards.. or just the jerks of everyday simple life.

Although the animation isn't new or revolutionary its familiar and it works. Audio and voices are always clear and a good range of voices when needed. Art style is forever similar.

Why a 10/10? Simply for the unscripted brilliance and mindful insight of illwillpress. Always creatively topical or vocal Foamy delivers quality and familiarity.

Good job by illwillpress in adding another flash to the Foamy series.

Trippy

Nothing better than a nicely animated flash to convey that all too human feeling of insanity.

Beautifully timed animations moving in unnatural ways combined with the smooth movements of such a cleanly defined animation and art style pull this one work into a lovely piece. Music that redefines the concept of typical music with the trippy colors makes this a very original flash that stand out all on its own.

Mouse on Mars music was done creative justice with this submission.

Keep up the great work!

Fresh and interesting.

I love how this starts out with this amazingly animated opening sequence with what feels like an hand-drawn pen and ink style. Nice character design along with fitting voice acting. Everything just fits and feels like it should be the way it is. Good sense of humor and a great sense of direction from scene to scene.

For an almost professional feel you have earned a near perfect score. The only thing holding back a 10 out of 10 is the awkwardly floating cash registers, but that's nothing much at all. I'd love to see a series of these.
